You know i'll be there. Anyone know which bars/clubs are the best to go too?

I'll be there.

i will be there as well....i would suggest manayunk....its only about 5 minutes from pcom and there's a whole street of bars/clubs....kildare's, grape street, tonic are some places i've been to

What are you guys wearing? Honestly, I don't feel like wearing a suit again and I think that would be pretty much over the top. I am going to email Dr. Woodruff and ask her.

didnt even think about what to wear yet... maybe khakis and a shirt??

No suit. Tie optional. Just dress nice. I wore a collared shirt, tie and dress pants last year and the tie was a touch over dressed.

I'm coming in as well. Not sure if I will be in Philly or D.C. Saturday night. Anyone find any good deals on hotel rooms for Saturday? If Im there Sat. night, I'm up for meeting some people out for some adult beverages.

I'll definitely be there--see you guys on Sunday...

Its me again. I thought i'll post this from nucleus. I think i'm gonna check it out. I love Open Mic Nights. If anyone else wants to go with me just shoot me a PM...then afterwards hit some of the other bars on Main Street.

"Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine's annual OPEN MIC NIGHT will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2006, from 6-10 p.m. at:
GRAPE STREET PHILADELPHIA
4100 Main Street
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Manayunk)
215-483-7084
Cover Charge: $7
*Please note that this is a 21+ event and proper ID is required.

Your participation will help raise money for a scholarship foundation in memory of John Kearney, a former PCOM student who died tragically as a result of a hiking accident in Arizona. Come support the scholarship program and listen to some of your peers rock the main stage (that's right, this year, we'll be on the MAIN stage!)"

I'm trying to get in contact with my cousin so she can get me a hotel at the Hilton at the airport (15 minute drive to PCOM...with indoor pool, hot tub, gym..very clean) for only ~45 dollars a night. Yo man if you want to stay at the hotel its fine. Its probably going to be my friend Marcelino (part of Class of 2010) and I.

I'm definitely gonna be there Sunday..

I was reading thru the pcom class of 2009 thread from last year and someone said that they were told by admissions that the attire would be business casual. So khakis and a nice shirt would be fine. I don't think ties would be necessary for guys.

See you guys on Sunday! 🙂

🙁 Bummed out! I have to work so I can't go! Life sucks on occasion.

Let me join the chorus of many PCOM students in welcoming you guys to the family. Also, if you're in the area this friday and have some free time, PCOM is hosting Hospital Day where hospitals and residency programs send reps, put up displays ... and hand out free stuff

Friday, April 28, from 10AM - 3PM in Evans lobbies and the OMM Lab
