Hi, I want to ask PCOM DO students who were bio-meds last year...how many first year bio-meds got into the DO program and how many ppl applied.
Our bio-med class is still interviewing and a lot of us are concerned that since we are getting interviewed so late that are sits will be taken and we might have to apply again.

last year we interviewed throughout the months of March & April, they wanted to see our 2nd trimester grades prior to interviewing. I would estimate that maybe 1/4 of those that applied got in right away. The rest were waitlisted for either 3rd term grades or april mcats. no one every reallly knows what goes on in admissions, and you have to keep in mind there's a new director this year, but last year we were told not to worry, they'd leave room for us. i know it really sucks to wait longer. you're dont with the worst of the biomed program, you suffered through anatomy, and you deserve your acceptance already. just keep doing what your doing, be patient, and it will pay off. also keep in mind that PCOM is asking for an additional $2000 deposit from students this year. last year was just the $250.
