Those are my top 4 choices of schools. How would you rank the cost of living for each school...from the lowest to the highest? I need to finance most if not all of my med school cost. I'd just like to get the whole picture when/if I get to choose among those four.
Oh, also, for a place like say PCOM, about how much would be the non tuition cost (books, fees, rent, food etc etc...ALL of it)? I'm sure someone who goes there would have a good idea.
Thanks.

The cost of education at PCOM and CCOM were pretty much the same at both schools when i applied two years ago (~60000 a year). The best way is just to email their finacial aid departments for last years budget for first years. Loans aren't a big deal to get.

The budget for last year's first years (10 months) at Western U was around $60,000.

So, if needed I'm assuming there are loans to cover the 60K/year expense. I've heard from a few people to choose a school with the best financial package. If loans are all given out based on need, what does that advice refer to?

scholarships are given out based on need. An except for large institutions with huge university backing there aren't a lot of scholarships out there. Thats why the government is good for the staffords and private companies for the rest.
