I would like to continue to keep up with whether or not anyone on the PCOM-GA waitlist is getting pulled off. So if you are waitlisted let's hear any info you have received!

It is about to be to late for me. Our house his hitting the market next week and once we get a contract I will have to pull my name of the waitlist. I wonder what the chances are for getting a letter in a couple of weeks?

My fiancee interviewed March 19th and got the waitlist letter April 30th. He was told it would take 3 weeks for a response but it appears that things have been going quite slooow for PCOMGA. He has no other letters so we're really praying that he gets in.

If and when he does get accepted, this will definitely be a huge life change for both of us. I've heard a bunch of stories of how med school effects marriage life, but I'm ready to endure the journey.

My fiancee got in!! He got his acceptance letter yesterday. So now we need to send the 2K but the letter didn't state the specifics about where to send it. That's odd.

Anyway, I now have to kick my job hunt into high gear and find a place to stay.

I was kinda surprised...I had good scores, went to UGA, decent interview...still waitlisted. Oh well.

We live in Tallahassee, Florida. In addition to searching for a place to live and a new job for me, we're also in the middle of planning our wedding (Aug. 4, 2007). I wonder if there's some kind of med school wives' group that I could join.

Congrats! I really hope to get pulled off the waitlist in the next couple of weeks! I am safe though, so no disrespect to those of you who are not headed somewhere for sure.

I am a second year at GA-PCOM in close correspondence with the admin office, and I have heard that the waitlist is moving much slower than they had anticipated this year. Do not give up hope! Waitlisted means that they want to take you. Good luck, GA-PCOM is a great place to be.
