Any thoughts on which is better? Pros/cons of each?

I'd eventually like to end up practicing in NYC or the surrounding area - would either school have an advantage in terms of that? Also, which school places its students in more "competitive" residencies?

If you wanna practice in NYC, why not give NYCOM a shot? THey've got rotations at NYC hospitals available, I think. Isn't UMDNJ in central Jersey?

UMDNJ SOM is just SE of Philly. UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School is in Newark.
