Ok Ive been trying to get a grasp on PCOM-GA. The philly campus is my number one choice, so I thought it would be a good idea to look into the other campus in atlanta. Would it be a good idea to apply to PCOM-GA? Would this affect my chances at PCOM-PA? If anyone has an idea about this please let me know??

since no one else has answered i'll take a stab at this. This is what I know about PCOM-GA and it is taken directly from their website.

"Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine is accepting 80 students per year in its DO program and in August 2006, enrolled 51 students in the biomedical sciences program. The College's primary focus is to train students from Georgia and nearby southern states to practice osteopathic medicine and encourage them to locate in inner cities and rural areas, which are experiencing a shortage of physicians."

self explanatory. And I for one don't think it will hurt your chances to apply to both PCOM's but that's just my guess. I was going to apply to both, but when I found out the above info, decided not to...I live in Maine lol.

Depends... do you call it the "American Civil War" or the "War of Northern Aggression"? 😀

After living in the deep south, I have a hard time even considering southern virginia the south. There are the pockets though. I feel like North Carolina is the true line.

I live in Miami, Fl. It is so far south that it's not even the south in my opinion. More like Northern Cuba.

Miami doesn't count either. You either speak Spanish or Yiddish down there, with a few Quebec snow birds thrown in. (I am originally from down there)
