I was thinking about buying a pda for clinical rotations. Anyone have any recommendations....palm os v. pocket pc. or good sites with pda reviews with regard to medicine.
We have an article on www.doctorsgadgets.com by Yelena Shneyder that covers what the differences between pocket pc and palm are and how to get started using a pda in your clinical work.
PDA's, while not essential, are damn useful for clinical rotations/life/amusement. I use my drug database (epocrates) daily and the scheduling tool to keep track of lectures/call/free lunches.
Seriously, if you have $200 you can spend, go for it.
