Well I've paid my deposit and off to D-school. With finals and a baby coming my SDN days are over. Thanks to those that offered words of advice. Thank you to the mods.
If I've offended anyone on the months I've been here I am sorry. Take care and good luck to everyone with future plans.
PS Dr. toothache. I really do think you have found a nice place here on SDN but in 20 years when my firstborn is a pre-dent please be nice to him.
Peace out.

True to his word, thus far.

thanks for coming out ... god bless and good night!

You guys need to chill out... If he wants to say his "thank you/good byes", let him do it. Notice that he is saying bye to the people that helped him. Its always nice to show some graditude.

if he really wanted to show gratitude, he would be staying around sdn and helping the next generation of applicants.. I see this as a selfish move on his part (i.e. use the service and throw away).

You have to consider that not all people that use this website as a source of gathering information about application process or anything really will come back... People will move on... Showing his graditude towards the ones who helped him is better than moving on without showing anything... Not staying here on SDN to help the next generation of applicants might be a little selfish like you said... but thats exactly what most of the people do. Youll consider them "selfish", but thats just how things go...
