i am on peds this month, and i enjoy working with pediatric patients. i may consider doing a year fellowship. as far as i know there is the 1 year pediatric fellowship and the combined program (which is usually 3 year). do most pediatric anesthesiologists stay in the academic fields? what are the top pediatric anesthesia fellowship programs? and how competitive is it?
