Hi Everyone-
As I am preparing to study for the written section of the Pediatric Dental Specialty Board exam in 2011, I have been getting conflicting ideas of the best ways to study and prepare for it. I have heard several resources are best:
1. AAPD Guidelines
2. Pediatric Dentistry textbook (Pinkham)
or
3. Pediatric Dentistry textbook (Macdonald)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

AAPD guidelines and the AAPD Handbook of Pediatric Dentistry. Ignore those pedo textbooks you mentioned.

what about the comrehensive review of pediatric dentistry book that we take in the annual meetings, is it of any importance? or just focus as you mentioned on the AAPD hand book and Guidlines book?

Thanks

I know an old topic...but my cousin just took the exam in October..she said material from Pinkham (as well as the other suggested materials here) helped her do well.
