Hi all, I'm an MD/MPH student applying next cycle. My main concern is two grades: I got a P in my core pediatrics clerkship, and then a HP in the sub-i. I know it's super desirable to have honors in both of these categories, so I was wondering how much this will hurt my chances.

STEP I: 258
STEP II CK: 268
Grades (other than above): H in 3 cores, P in 2 cores, H in 3 selectives, H in 1 elective
Not AOA
3+ pubs

Was wondering how many programs to apply to & such. Thanks!

You'll be fine. Based on what you've shown, you have a good chance of matching wherever you'd like. Make sure you have good letters of recommendation to go along with everything else.

Generally speaking though, applying to about 15 programs and interviewing around 8 or so should be more than sufficient.
