Peds EM rotation in NYC

Hi all, I'm a current 3rd year interested in setting up a 4th year elective in Peds EM in NYC and was wondering if anyone had suggestions of a good place to do it at?

I'm actually not planning on going into EM or peds-EM(I'm aiming for peds-neuro) but just thought doing a peds-em month would be interesting plus good practice for the 2 years of peds residency I'll have to do.

Peds EM was the longest 2 wks of my life. I did a wk during Peds (community hospital in Brooklyn) and a wk during my EM rotation (Kings County Peds ED). Mind numbingly boring, minimal teaching, basically like clinic w/ a grand total of 1 resus in 2 wks (which the Peds senior swooped in on and boxed out the med students so we just stood there and watched). If you want peds experience do a Peds sub-I or a Peds clinic rotation.
