i've really only heard about northwestern and maybe one or 2 others in chicago.
does anyone know or have any opinions about the peds programs in chicago??
i noticed that you, scholes, that wrote that christ at one point didnt fill.
does this information matter when thinking about a residency program? why do things like that happen to programs? when should a program not filling raise red flags to an applicant?
I have no idea why Christ didn't fill last year. They filled 9 of 12 spots before the match and I dont know what happened with the scramble. I liked it better than most of the Chicago programs. Didn't rank it very highly because I felt it was more of a community hospital than academic. If I was interested in gen peds, I would have given it much more thought.
