Peds shelf

I've heard that peds shelf is notoriously difficult. Can anyone give me a pointer or two on what to focus and how to study?
I'd greatly appreciate any input.

Actually it was quite easy, probably the easiest of all 3rd year exams with the exception of psych. If you know Blueprints cold you can honor it.

i wouldn't necessarily call it easy, but i went through blueprints 2 complete times with a 3rd look at cards, neonate, and a few other subjects i was weak in. i also did pretest twice and scored in the 90s.

While I would not call the shelf exam easy, the peds shelf exam is not impossible. I got a 99%-tile. I only worked throught the A& L and Pretest questions books.

Good luck and know your development, rashes, and URI/otitis bugs! that should be a good start.
