I got the following email from Penn, with the subject line: Penn has revieved your unverified application from AMCAS

Dear Applicant:
We have now recieved your preliminary application to the University of
Pennsylvania School of Medicine from AMCAS. If you were unable to complete
Penn's supplemental application this week, you should be able to do so now.

I am sorry for the delay.

I called them but the lady seemed clueless. I asked if she still wanted me to send in my printed app and she said yes, so I don't know what the hell's going on. Anyone else get this email?

Got the same email. A couple weeks ago, at UPenn's request, I sent them a copy of my application along with a copy of my MCAT score report. I would send the printed app if the lady told you to...just to be sure that they have all of your info...AMCAS isn't exactly trustworthy these days!

I think that "preliminary" means name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
