Hey I was just wondering if anyone on here had an interview at Penn yet and how it all went down

You can check my old posts. I created a thread that talked about my interview and I answered a bunch of questions. I hope it helps.

i interviewed at penn last week and it was a pretty laid back and fun day. the lunch was great and so was the tour! dr. sheridans intro is good and she gives some interesting history about the school and dentistry. same financial aid stuff as usual..i think i grabbed my 3rd cup of coffee then and was still trying not to fall asleep.. i interviewed with dr. yasner and she was really sweet- i think there were 8 basic questions (why dentistry, big surprise) they have to ask and u can def count on them asking all of the questions you already answered in your secondary! the dentsim lab is really awesome, gives the first years great practice before actual patient work. i thought that columbia was my first choice but now not so sure...well see.. hope this was helpful let me know if any more questions 😉

Penn was probably the most welcoming dental college I've visited. The faculty and stuff were very accommodating and helpful, and the interview was just a friendly discussion. I didn't get asked any questions directly, they were more in the form of a relaxed chat. Food was great, and the schedule was on key. Really outdid a few of the other chaotic schedules that other schools throw out there.
