Did it get easier? harder?
any differences that was noticeable?
Just asking since if I don't get in this cycle again, I'm going to need to retake the test.

I didn't retake YET, but I'll be retaking in a month.
I don't think it'll be any more difficult... At least I have a decent understanding of what I didn't know when I went into the first test, totally unprepared.

I felt the reading was harder just because search/destroy didn't work well on 1 passage. My second PAT felt insanely hard, pattern folding specifically. I was really good at folding in CDP, but it just felt crazy on the second run. People have been posting it was similar to CDP, so it has me confused. I felt that the sciences and math were about the same.

Thank you for the info.
Anyone else??

I'm also retaking the DATs soon, from what I have been reading on here is that the Bio wording is very tricky, but it's not like they will test you on anything different but just how they will word it. Yesterday or the day before I believe it was "Slumbers" breakdown mention that his Bio section was very hard because of the wording not really the material. He mentioned Cliffs pretty much covered about 90% of the material. The GC I hear is half concepts and like have easy setup up problems. From what people on here have said is be ready for a few hard questions that you really need to know your stuff. OC on the other hand, everyone seems to say its way easier than Destroyer and about 90% from Chad's videos. I don't know how true this is but I can only go by what people have said recently on threads. I hear PAT section has gotten harder than CDP and to use Achiever is better. Math and Reading are pretty much a hit or miss. Again this is what I have been reading so don't take quote me 100%.

I was definitely more dedicated to studying the second time so it made the test seem easier. I used the 18 I got the first time as a kick in the pants to buckle down for the retake. It also helped me calm down a little bit the second time. I was at the same testing place so I knew what to do and was more comfortable. I was pretty nervous the first time. By the math section when I knew I was going to see my scores in a few minutes I basically froze leading to my low score. It turned out for the best though. Had I done ok on the math I would have got a 19 on the test and stuck with it and not retaken and who knows maybe I wouldn't have gotten accepted with that. But I retook it and got a 21 so it is good I messed it up on math the first time!

cool. Thanks everyone. I guess if I have to retake, I'll study in a similar way that I studied for my 1st attemp lol..

You shouldn't study the same way, but study what you are/was weak on.
I was weak on orgo, GC and QR.
I've nearly worked the entire orgo odyssey and will be doin the math destroyer along with chem review like crazy. Then brush up on bio and PAT before the exam

Thanks. I did decent with the way I studied before. Only weakness was RC(19), which I am not sure how I'll improve, since english is my third language.
Also a retake would be hypothetical, only if I don't get in this year.

It gets harder if you have a harder version. Mine was harder the second time around. It is just the chance of whether or not you will be asked things you are good at.
