people with Pitt interviews

I know that Pitt is big on research and likes to see research experience from applicants. I was just wondering out of the people who got interviews at Pitt, how many of you have done research? I haven't done any research and I'm just hoping this doesn't hurt my chances too much.

5 research experiences at 4 major universities in 2 countries. Though no publications, except for 5th author on an abstract.

Hi MaChVa, I wouldn't be too concerned, I think, if I were you. The only research I've done is volunteer work for roughly 1 to 1.5 months in a state lab, and most of that time, I felt, was spent on the scientists trying to teach me things! But it was a really good, fun experience. I'm going to an interview with Pitt in two weeks, and I hadn't known until reading your post that this school prefers research experience.

I have an interview there. I'm a PA resident and I actually did research at the Pitt dental school.

from OH - have a pitt interview and have some past research and a TON of research that i'll be doing this yr that i put in my AADSAS (senior research thesis)

I also received pittsburg's invitation, but there is only 2 interviews this year....so I decide to make my appointment on january. Anyone has same situation with me??😕

what do you mean by there is only two interviews this year?

There are definitely more than 2 interview dates this year because I had a choice of 3 dates in October/November. Maybe those dates have filled up by now though.
