Per Diem vs Registry?

Hello,
Do any of you know the positive and/or negative aspects of working Registry or Per Diem? I'm graduating this December (yey!) and am trying to figure out all of my options. Is it possible for an individual to work as a staff nurse, at a given hospital, and do Registry or Per Diem shifts on the side? Thanks.🙂

Yes, you can do this. I know of an OB nurse that works full time at one hospital and does per diem in my department every once in a great while.

I plan on doing this, as well. I will be doing 3 12's and may have as much as a week off in between my shifts.
