Perhaps neurotic question regarding a letter of rec

So I was recently waitlisted at one school, and I'm waiting to hear back from another two. I sent an additional letter of rec to the school I'm already waitlisted at, but I'm not sure whether to send it now, or later, to the other two.

I'm very positive that I will receive a waitlist at the other two schools, so I don't see sending the letter helping in making me an immediate acceptance. Rather I feel it would be better if I sent it after the waitlist (knock on wood), and use it as an update to my application before May 15th.

What do you think SDN?

I agree with your strategy of waiting. If you send the letters now but still get waitlisted you have no more cards in your hand.
