My wife has has persistent nausea for 9 months now. She has undergone every test imaginable and everything comes back negative. She has no other symptoms other than nausea.
A few months back she got a cold and took prednisone for a week. She felt worse while on the prednisone (not a shock), but a couple days after she went off of it, she had 4 straight days of feeling completely normal again, but then the nausea came back.
Here is the mystery... what is it about going off of the prednisone that would cause the persistent nausea to go away? It's as if the body had stopped doing something while she was on the prednisone and then took awhile to readjust and it got tricked into feeling better again.
We feel like this is proof that there is a solution to the persistent nausea, we just don't know what the solution is. Please help us out.
