Personal History?

Currently. I'm working on finishing up my college application essays, and for the BS/MD program at the University of Miami requires a personal history. I'm really confused on how to write this. I'm having trouble.... could any of you guys give me some tips? 🙂

When I got to the essay portion of Miami's BS/MD I just used my "why medicine?" essay I used for all the BS/MD programs. It contained a description of my personal experiences. I got an interview.

Think of what events in your life were important into shaping you into who you are.

Give a sad story about your life and how you've come out a better person. Try to sound confident with the latter.
