Anyone know how (or if it's possible) to get a personal loan while a resident? I went to BofA today, and they said they no longer do that sort of thing.
I was always under the impression that banks treated training physicians well, with residency loans or something.
I'm a CA-3 anesthesia resident, and after fellowship interviews, board exam fees, books, etc., could really use extra help.

Appreciate any help. I'm also accepting donations.

I'm in the opposite situation. I have several banks calling me (at work!) to offer me personal loans for any and everything. I wish they would all go away and always tell them to do so.

Do you have decent/excellent credit? If so, I would think this shouldn't be a problem.

Credit is definitely not an issue.
I went to Bank of America, didn't try any other banks. Do any large reputable institutions do personal loans? Or anyone have a suggestion?
