Steph,

Knowing that you are the master of radiobiology and other allied sciences, do you carry around a cell phone?

Thanks

interesting question: i dont claim to be the master of anything (seinfeld refs aside) but my answer requires a little qualification. I hate cell phones. Not for radiation reasons but rather because they are obnoxious little items. they belong in a car or in a pocket but turned off except for those *truely* important can't wait convos. My phone is sitting in the car as i type. At my jobt hey give me a free one (Well its not free, but they pay for it). Its not a moral or luddite thing, nor health objection to the devils; but save to say that I dont expect to go out with people so they can have conversations with people who couldnt be bothered to join us. Oh yeah, and put the darned thing down when you drive!
Not that you asked any of that.

So in short: cell phones bad for health when driving (and what's worse, bad for others). not yet worried about brain tumors (Which i specialize in).
