Personal Statement Advice

I recently decided I wanted to go into EM after doing my 4th year core rotation. Would it be a horrible idea to say something in my personal statement along the lines of "I always wanted to do x but after my rotation in EM I couldn't see myself doing anything but that" or "I never truly considered EM but that quickly changed"?

Don't say it like that, but do mention what a profound effect that your rotation had on you.
