Hi everyone,

I need help editing my CV and personal statement. Do you recommend any professional company or a person that you`ve worked with! I looked online and found so many to choose from.

Thank you!

Are you currently enrolled at a university? Is this for residency? If enrolled just contact the undergraduate library's writing center or contact an English grad student. After that ask your medical school advisor to read it.

For CV you can just search MD CV example, etc. and copy any of those formats.

Definitely show your essay and CV to your advisor. He or she will have had experience reading many many many essays and will know good ones from bad ones. They will be able to tell you what they and their colleagues at other institutions look for in a personal statement. They will give you advice that is invaluable.

For the CV, there are many standard formats out there. Pick one you like, but keep it simple. Avoid using different font types and sizes for instance. The AAMC has a good one:
