I am currently writing my personal statement and including certain parts of my memorable experiences that have lead me to where I am today as far as wanting to go into medicine goes. Should these experiences I am mentioning be included as the most influential to me in the other section? Obviously they are important enough to me to include them in my statement. Because of that, would I be at a disadvantage if I did not include these and chose three other experiences to write more extensively about instead? This would essentially allow me to express my other experiences even more outside of the personal statement.

This is a good question, and I'm not certain as to the answer. This is more something that I think an Adcom will need to answer. As far as adding meaningful experiences to your PS, you're on the right track there, but I'm not really sure that what you list as "most meaningful" in AMCAS necessarily *has* to correspond to all the experiences in your PS.
