Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and so far everything I have read seems to be incredibly helpful. With that said I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what to say in the personal statement essay? I have an idea of what I "need" to say, but I have found it difficult to find an interesting way of saying those important things. Any ideas on how to start out the essay? Like I said, any help will be great. Also, anyone in the forum applying without a bachelors degree? I have a 3.85 GPA with 4.00 GPA in the sciences (only have O chem II to go). What are the chances of getting in without a 4 year degree. Thanks..

Nic--

My first suggestion is for you to search the archives. There is a plethora of valuable information which has been posted. I would be happy to help you out (you'll see a lot of posts by myself and others) but I think that you woul dget the most benefit from searching the archives, as this is a very common subject.

About the admissions without completing a 4 yr degree it is possible, but those who do get accepted have completed all the pre-reqs, the DAT, and have everythign in order. generally speaking most schools (the competitive ones at least) prefer to see applicants who complete a degree. Also think of it this way, its something to add on your wall, and something to fall back on. Besides as most will tell you, take the extra year and finish up undergrad. It is so worth it.
