do you just upload a .doc or a .pdf? or do you copy and paste? will it keep spaces between paragraphs, indents, italics etc?

If I recall, it's a text box just like when you post on SDN. No way would they let you upload PDFs or .doc files, no guarantee that they'll be able to look at everyone's like that.

Let alone a PDF or .doc/.docx would be more difficult to do a character count.
