Personal Statement Format?

So for the personal statement part of the application after I preview it, all the indent for my paragraphs are gone!
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Why aren't the paragraphs indented?

Mine weren't indented either. I thought about leaving a space in between paragraphs but decided not to. Somewhere I read that the way we see it in the preview isn't necessarily the way the aadsas people see it.

Regardless, I just left it. You can usually see where a new paragraph starts based on the short length of the sentence before it.
