Hello guys, my sGPA is 3.7 and my overall is 3.82
When I was at a community college I maintained a 4.0 GPA but when I transferred to a university I got some B's on my sciences. To keep it short, I had to work close to full-time while being full time student to afford rent/bills. Do you think I should mention that in my personal statement? I also want to show personal growth when I moved out of my parents house when I transferred to a university. What do you think?

Don't put it on your personal statement. Imo the B's won't be a big deal at all, and I'm not sure how much they may care about moving out.... Anyway, if you want to mention it, there is usually a section on secondaries, something along the lines of "Is there anything else you'd like to include, that is not elsewhere on your application?...." So you could put it there.

Your personal statement needs to be about why you want to be a dentist. Unless your personal growth pertains to dentistry or can be related somehow then I would omit it. I would not mention your B’s in the statement either, you will have other opportunities to talk about factors effecting grades.

^^ these responses sum it up well. A general rule of thumb for personal statement is not to repeat any information that can be found on the application, but tell your story of why you're choosing dentistry. There are usually sections on the supplementary applications that allow you to report any reasoning behind grades (at least for the schools I applied to, there were). Also, B's are fine haha.
