Not sure where to look so I guess I'll just ask. Can anyone refer me to any good resources on how to write an excellent personal statement/essay?

Cool, thanks. That looks like a great site. Anyone else? I guess I kind of have an idea of things I want to say but I'm also looking for some definite do's and don't's.

A friend of mine who is currently in med school passed down a book to me. I think it was titled something like..how to write a medical school essay, 40 essays that really worked. It gave me the idea of how I wanted to organize mine and what type of tone I wanted to carry throughout it. Also, if you need an editing service...I hear that EssayRx is pretty good and one of the cheaper online services.
