Start writing using papers & pen and not a computer screen.. Just scribble down any ideas or points you want to get across to the reader. Don't worry about linking the ideas together, just write them down ( 1 word, 1 sentence) ignore both opening & ending for now. Once you have all the points you want to talk about written. Take each point and expand on it, try to expand it in a way that will still deliver the originals message, don't worry about sounding professional or not! Simply expand all the points that you have wrote down. Once done expanding all points, re-write them into a fresh piece of paper ( that usually trigger the first corrections to your sentences to make them sound better) after that number each point with a number 1,2,3...etc. 1 means that's the first point you would like to present 2 is the second you would like to talk about and so on.. Once done, write them in the order you put them in, leaving 1 blank line between eAxh point. Then you can start to work on connecting the point with each other to make them flow from one to two to three and so on.. Once you have done this, work on the ending.. The ending should be no more than 3-4 solid sentences, basically telling the schools why you are the prefect fit or why they should chose you over th other. Get straight to the point here( no need for fluffying 🙂 ) once your done with the ending, you can now start working on opening statement, usually by this stage, it will come naturally: it should be a easy translation or summery on what about to come in the body of the essay.. Once done do a quick corrections then copy it to MSwords; and do a second round of editing. Have a friend whom is good with lanaguge to check the essay over, they usually see points or things you have missed! I hope this helps!
