Hey guys, I'm having some difficulty writing my personal statement.
I guess I am confused as to what exactly to write about. I know you're supposed to write about why you want to be a doctor, but how do you do that without saying, "I like science and helping people?"
Do I tell the story of my journey, since I was unsure in college and decided later that I wanted to pursue medicine? Do I talk about some of the cool experiences I've had in the medical field (that aren't necessarily directly related to being a physician)? Do I talk about my qualifications and research?
I guess I'm just confused at what a personal statement should look like and consist of.
Also, if anyone would let me read their PS, I would appreciate it.
