Personal Statement information...

Hey all,

I am just looking to get some information on writing a personal statement. My first question is how long does it need to be (# of words) and is there only one that need to uploaded to the ADA's website when applying that all the schools recieve? Also what do you feel is a "must have" in the statement and what are some things to stay away from?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to write mine right now. On AADSAS website, I think it's says that the maximum is 4500 words.

Not 4500 words, but 4500 CHARACTERS WITH SPACES.

My personal statement, which used every one of the 4500 characters, was 750 words. Just a heads up.

Yes I stand corrected. It is 4500 characters (about one page)
