Hi!

I have had a few days to work on my ps since taking the DATs. I'm having a really hard time getting it in shape. I managed to get a second draft, but I would really appreciate some other people's advice! If you would like to read it and just give a few comments, that would be REALLY great. Just pm me with your email! Thanks so much!

It really doesn't look pretty.

doc toothache offers his time to read PS, you can see if he is currently available. I would be weary sending your PS to others with no reputation here.

Just talk about your road that lead u to pursue dentistry. State specific examples, any important factors such as a dentist you saw or volunteer experiences that changed you or an incident to you personally that made you want to go into dentistry. Also if your a reapplicant, how you have changed since the last time you applied and why they should accept you this time around. Try to be vivid and detailed but concise at the same time. Don't write about too many topics, focus on the important ones. If your school has a pre-health advising office, I would suggest taking it to one of the counselors to talk about your essay. If all else fails, there are writing programs on the web that will help with your essay for a fee.

It would be nice to have my prehealth advisor look at it, but she's so busy with committee letters and all. 🙁 I'm planning on submitting my app next week. Good lord it's going to be so late.
