Hi,

I recently wrote a draft of my personal statement over Winter break and was wondering where I can have other SDNers read it over for edits. The most recent personal statement readers thread has been inactive for some months now. I assume it will pick up in activity closer to the 2019 application cycle, but I would like to get a head start on this if possible.

A little about me: traditional applicant with leadership/research heavy application. The schools I am applying to reflect this (research heavy schools, schools that want to produce physician leaders and educators).

I'll read it for you if you'd care to private message, but you should know that my own PS went against the conventional wisdom of playing it safe (I did not avoid trying to stand out creatively)...nonetheless I had a very successful cycle including 21 interview invites
