Anyone here willing to take a look at my PS and help in revision? Ideally adcoms or people who have good knowledge of medical admissions/personal statements, but any pair of eyes would be great too! I feel like I have an interesting story but can't convey it eloquently. English isn't my primary language so my essay may not have smooth flow or transition. So yeah.. Let me know if anyone can help pretty please and thank you!

bumping hopefully someone is willing to help edit/review my PS.

I wanted people's opinions as well if I'm discussing relevant things. So far, an outline of my PS looks like this:

Paragraph 1:
About my life in the Philippines. Talked about my low socioeconomic status when I was growing up and having to see shamans/traditional healers. I was thinking that this could set me apart as having some cultural diversity/unique life experience.

Paragraph 2:
I talked about how my younger years affected my curiosity and desire for helping others.

Paragraph 3:
I immigrated to USA at 20 years old and had some difficulties at first. But then I joined the Navy (reserves) as a field medic/corpsman, went back to school and found success at different aspects of my life.

Paragraph 4:
I haven't written it yet but maybe just a summary of how my life has shaped me to be a good potential doctor.


If you're willing to help me edit my actual PS please let me know. I'll send you a copy. I really need someone to help with the flow/grammar as well as to tell me if what I'm talking about is actually relevant. Thanks!
