I am a pre-medical student applying at the moment and am working on my personal statement. I have been working as an Anesthesia Tech from 2009 till Jan 2013 and kinda schedule my own hours. I work about 20 hours/week sometimes during the school year and sometimes ill work around 20hrs/month depending on my schedule. During the summer i work fulltime some months and off for other.
basically i'm trying to say my hours fluctuate a lot. I don't want to misquote the actual hours, do med school check the hours you work or just the fact that you had the job?

Not sure what this has to do with your personal statement, but just average your hours over the range.
