hey fellas, i was trying to start on my personal statement for neurology and i'm absolutely stuck as an introduction. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to get help (other than alumni from your school, etc)...

I took a draft of mine to my dean's letter interview. I thought I was basically done, but she made a LOT of suggestions. Argh....

You really want to make sure you have a great intro to your personal statement. PD's will be reading hundreds of these statements so you want yours to catch their attention. You should try to start your statement off with an interesting story that will later lead into the reason you are choosing neurology. That is the best way to do it.
