It is actually not the words but the characters that matters. I had a little bit of formatting trouble when I copied and pasted mine from works, but not too bad. As long as the character count is under 3000...it should fit into the box.

I was wondering... how do you make paragraphs on your personal statement? Whenever I type in my essay and then click on the print preview, it just looks like one huge disorganized paragraph! Same with all my other responses, such as my list of activities. The list is horizontal! Is this really how they are going to see my application?

The application will take away any paragraphs you have...we're all in the same boat with it, so don't worry too much about it. 🙂 Goodluck!
