personal statement

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I would be willing to read it. 🙂

i, too, would be willing to read it. warning, though - i was an english major and still am a very rough editor...

wild! for shame! i thought i was the only english major on here! 😱

heehee - i'm pretty sure cookieB was too... you are the only one with a PhD in it though 🙂

I'd be willing to critique it.

wow, since there's a good number of you that were willing, can i have one of you critique mine as well. i guess i shouldn't make this a trend, but i don't have any contact with many english majors, and i'm not all too articulate.... please 🙂

I wasn't an English major, but I did edit a magazine. 😀

I don't know any english majors either 🙁. And only one other pre-vet. So the possibility of finding someone who has an idea of what would make a good personal statement for vet school and has proper grammar = nearly an impossibility. Any way I could ask y'all to edit mine too?

I am not an English major, but I am an amateur member of the grammar police 😛 My boss makes me edit all of her papers, abstracts, posters, grant proposals, etc. before submitting them. If anyone wants to PM me their PS, I'd be happy to offer feedback - not as a professional or anything, but at least as a peer who's been through it too 🙂

Wildfocus is indeed correct. I have a BA in English. 🙂

However, I'm currently in the process of having a small nervous breakdown since I'm leaving for Kansas tomorrow... :scared:

In the future, I'd be willing to read some stuff... if I have the time. Not sure what life will be like once school starts. But you can keep me in mind.

Back to packing..!
