I know this is already kind of late, but I have been really lazy this summer and have yet to send out my application because of my personal statement. I applied last year, but extremely late (around late December). I am not sure if I should take the time to redo my whole essay which I felt was already very strong. Advice needed asap.

Don't write a new one... just submit the one you already wrote as long as it still pertains to your situation. I have 2 personal statements written. One I turned into AADSAS last year and another one I wrote for a secondary app last year. This year, I just flipped them around... sent the one from the secondary app to AADSAS and vice versa. Just turn it in and get that app. finished asap

it's pretty late, I'd just submit what you had, maybe make a few changes if your situation has changed or you've done anything interesting. Defn. don't rewrite... as it'll probably take forever.
