I just spent $600 on three edits from Essay Edge, and I still do not have a final edit. What should I do?

Jeebus!! $600 is a lot of money to pay for an essay when you could've gotten your professors, family, friends, university writing center to read over your drafts for FREE!

I'd get people who know me best, especially professors who are familiar with my work and can look at the essay from an "adcom's" perspective. Especially advisors in the know...they know what qualities adcoms are looking for so they can help you play up the traits in your ps that fit with the schools you're applying to and whatnot.

Ask friends, professors, etc to help you like eveyrone else said. You don't need a final edit quite yet anyway so why not just wait if you are not applying til MAYYY

How long has it taken you to write the essay? You should wait a week and then re-read/edit it so that you gain a fresh perspective. Also, you might be adding more/deleting things from now till next year, so don't stress yourself over it.

i gave my professors the rough draft and told them it was not my finalized personal statement. i gave them my resume too. it's probably just for them to know you a little better
