To people that have got into dental school. I was just wondering, would anyone be willing to share their personal statement essay. I just want to see what kind of stuff they really look for. Don't worry i do not plan to copy anything, i am not that kind of a person. Would really appreciate i anyone can do this. I still have a while till i apply (for 2011) so i just want to get started on it.

Be sure to take a new perspective or angle on your statement. They read THOUSANDS of them each year. i.e. don't start with "I want to be a dentist because...."

It's tricky. That's why you should start ASAP, and make as many drafts as you need. I went through 26 drafts before I sent my final version in. Whatever you say, be sure to include examples to substantiate it.
