Hey I'm brand new to SDN, and I am in the process of applying to vet school. I was wondering what type of things should and should not go in a personal statement?

For things that should go in a personal statement, see the VMCAS prompt. If you are trying to decide whether to include a specific experience or topic, I would suggest asking yourself what important information it conveys about yourself and how it adds to your strength as a candidate for the profession. If it doesn't, don't include it. Try to write about experiences or skill combinations that are memorable and unique.
