There is a really great book called "The Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Medical Specialty" by Freeman that devotes a whole chapter to determining your personality type using Myers-Briggs and list what specialties fall under each type. Definitely worth a read.

I didn't read that book, but I did read about the Myers-Briggs personality types. I took one of the quizzes, and it seems to be pretty accurate, at least for me. My personality type was ISTJ. In looking at the medical specialties, the two I'm really considering were at the top of the list; Family Medicine and General Surgery.

Posts like this made me afraid to go to the hospital. How do you get into med school with such a horrible grasp of the English language?
