Has anyone gotten the gold personalization lettering with your name from allheart.com on litmann scopes? I am ordering an infant one, and they come in lilac, and I was wondering how well it would show up on lilac? on the website, they don't have a sample of the lilac. Did anyone get the lettering with the lilac color? how does it look?
thanks

I just use the cheap little plastic name tag clip that Littman supplies. 10 years later and it's still attached. They used to hand these out free to students..

I have a platinum model encrusted with my name "Pimp Daddy Smooth" in diamonds.

*Note: I am being facetious. I have no personalization on my stethoscope."

Knowing I wanted to go to med school when I started my EMT training, I went ahead and splurged a little on a stethescope. Then, since I worked for a place that does engraving, I had my last name engraved on it. I didn't like the tags or anything else that would stand out. I can look and easily identify mine and it's extremely permanent.

Of course, this will probably mean I'll lose it 🙁

I actually regret having a personalised steth done. It just feels OTT.

I paid the extra few bucks to have mine engraved when I got it from steeles.com
It just has my initials on the metal part of the head -- barely noticeable at all but might come in handy if I ever misplace it. (Littmann Cardio IIIs are not exactly rare around my neck of the woods)

This is what I use. It just has my last name on it.

Oh, like we never would have guessed you're trying to be funny. And you weren't being facetious either.

What I type and how you interpret a statement are two separate entities. I feel sorry for you for taking a post concerning the personalization of stethoscopes seriously.

I have a Cardio III. I didnt want to have a big fat tag hanging off mine, and also I have a friend that had hers done by allheart. I thought it was too big, and I didnt like that either. I just took my scope to a trophy shop, and had them engrave my initials on the metal part of the bell. Cost $5, looks really nice. Depends on the look you want I guess.

OTT?

I don't have anything on my stethoscope (which is just a student one, apprently we get bigger ones when we're actually in residency) but I'd love to have one of those clip on koala bear things - you know, where you can open the bear's paws so that it holds on to something?
