- Graduation from: (1) M.D. - Medical Uni. Innsbruck, Austria in 2004
- ECFMG-certified IMG; USMLE scores: Step 1 (211/86), Step 2CK (209/85), Step 2CS passed, Step 3 (217/91); all exams passed at first attempt
- Electives: Emergency and Catastrophe Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Movement Disorders
- Postgraduate positions held: 01/2005 - 11/2009: Postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Neurogenetics, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD (in combination with a Ph.D. program at the Queen Square Hospital, University College London, UK)
12/2009 - ongoing: Postdoctoral fellow at the Georgetown University, Washington, DC
