Hey guys,

So does anyone know the process for looking up available (vacant) PGY2 (1st yr of actual radiology and not prelim) positions for diagnostic radiology? I'm basically in my intern year right now and considering switching my speciality to radiology. I'm unsure on how to locate available positions. Any info would be great?

what is the specialty you're switching out of? I might know of an available position in radiology.

In regards to switching. I've heard that you get a certain number of years that either ACGME or the government will fund you based on ur speciality. So if you're switching from a 3 yr program to a program requiring more years, i hear that new program won't likely take you because you cost them more. Anyone have more info on this and where this "regulations" can be found? Anyone out there successfuly switch from a program w/ fewer years to one w/ more years?
